A Rooftop to Remember: 3rd & Traction, Arts District
Background
RYDA Ventures thoughtfully renovated and integrated three adjacent flagship buildings in the downtown Arts District. The resulting renovation resulted in 8 retail & restaurant spaces, including an ~10,000 SF 2nd level restaurant space with a significant open-to-sky patio.
The Challenge
While the downtown Arts District has situated itself as an international dining destination, most restaurant operators are veering towards smaller, first-level spaces. This building included a 10,000 SF rooftop restaurant space- an opportunity that warrants and desires the right vision and execution.
The Solution.
With gorgeous marketing and branding, CBRE educated the local tenant and broker community, but also conducted outreach to all the major international markets of this rare and unique rooftop restaurant offering.
The Outcome
CBRE attracted a restaurant group out of Mexico City, Grupo Palmares, whose specialty on rooftop restaurant and lounge spaces. Cha Cha Cha opened their restaurant bar & lounge in Q1 2021 and been a massive draw to the neighborhood.
